Started by Mark and Debbie Montgomery in 2015, MAD Pig BBQ dishes out the highest quality, best tasting BBQ. Each dish is prepared fresh daily according to original recipes and rubs by Mark and Debbie themselves. Because they believe you just can't rush good BBQ, the meat at MAD Pig is dry rubbed then slow smoked for a delicious flavor. MAD Pig prides itself on BBQ that is tender, juicy, and flavorful!
Mark's passion for cooking goes back many years. He has been serving up his delicious ribs, pulled pork, chicken, etc. to family and friends for decades. Family gatherings led to his creation of the perfect seasoning and his specialty BBQ sauce that is a hit with anyone who tries it! After years of friends and family raving about his delicious BBQ Mark decided to take the plunge and purchase a food trailer with a built in smoker. He quickly learned that his BBQ was going to be a staple in Lawrence County for years to come.
After working from the food trailer for the past year and a half Mark and Debbie realized it was time to move inside. Smoking meat in the rain was ok, but serving their customers in the weather wasn’t something they wanted to do. They wanted to be able to offer their famous BBQ year round! That’s when the project began south of Lawrenceville in the old “Winks Filling Station”.
