Les Amis du Fort de Chartres welcomes visitors to our Fort de Chartres Colonial Holiday Market on
December 14th, 2024 at 10am-3pm for special holiday shopping experience.

Celebrate with us the 300-year-old history of the Illinois country and share in the important tradition of French Christmas markets, Marchés de Noël. Come and shop in the Fort’s Trading Post for a unique selection of Heart of Illinois Country artisan hand-made items and holiday gifts relating to the eighteenth-century, holiday wreaths, and souvenirs of Fort de Chartres. There will also be a special opportunity to shop with a select group of area artisan vendors in the Fort’s Guards’ Room.
